2018 Tennessee Volunteers Baseball Roster Announced
The Road to Omaha Begins!
Kick-off the 2018 season with the official roster of the University of Tennessee Volunteers baseball team.
The 2018 Tennessee Volunteers baseball team represents the University of Tennessee in the 2018 NCAA Division I baseball season. The Volunteers are led by head coach Tony Vitello and play their home games at Lindsey Nelson Stadium in Knoxville, Tennessee.
The Volunteers finished the 2017 season with a record of 40-21, 18-12 in SEC play, to finish third in the Eastern Division. They lost to Vanderbilt in the semifinals of the SEC Tournament and were not selected to participate in the NCAA Tournament.
The Volunteers return eight starters from last year's team, including All-SEC selections Andre Lipcius, Zach Daniels, and Ethan Hankins. They also welcome a highly touted recruiting class that is ranked among the top 10 in the nation.
With a talented roster and a veteran coaching staff, the Volunteers are poised to make a run at the SEC Championship and the College World Series in 2018.
